The Future of the BioTech Industry by native Salopian Dr Mark Carver, professor at University College London Department of Biochemical Engineering.  Mark is a senior and highly respected figure in the UK bioindustry sector, having worked as Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Research at a number of biotech firms in the country.   He is currently Chair of the UK BioIndustry Association Science and Innovation Advisory Committee.
